Established in 2000, dbl O opened its doors to much fanfare in the happening Mohamed Sultan stretch. It quickly rose
to be one of the most prominent dance clubs in Singapore. Today, 10 years later, after its Mohamed Sultan competitors
have either faded into obscurity or relocated, dbl O continues to have a strong foothold in Singapore's nightlife scene
and the brand is growing in strength.
Believing in the ethos "our local youth are our future", dbl O has also actively engaged the youth community, providing
a platform to showcase their talents through its many campaigns, championing local and upcoming artists, musicians,
dancers and fashion designers; supporting the notion that dbl O is more than just a dance club.
16 ceramic tiles with their origins from Bar at Robertson have been joined together commemorating the friendships forged during the 11 years of O Bar's existence.
The 3 dimensional flowers upon a 2 dimensional background symbolize the beginning and end of the time/space continuum called "O Bar". The physical tile symbolizes the enduring nature of all that was, and all that will become; from our journey together.
What began as a "faraway place and a distant dream" is now a reality. We simply would not be were it not for O Bar and your efforts over the years. From all of us that comprise the dbl 0 group; Thank you.
