Our love for all things street combined with homegrown acts such as
Radikal Forze and Dance Meets has resulted in a full blown foray for
dbl O into the underground world of break and hip hop dancers. But to
make sure we do not get too saturated with the street scene, we are
also working with Fiesta Fitness for monthly Zumba parties which bring
people from all walks of life into dbl O to experience getting fit
within the confines of a dance club.
First conceived in 1998, during the nascent years of the 2nd wave of
b-boying to hit Singapore, the name Radikal Forze has since become
synonymous with the local hip hop scene. Currently fronted by Felix Huang,
Radikal Forze has been taking its crews to new heights with the organization
of dance events and competitions which saw the introduction of dbl O to
foreign dancers and judges alike.
Dedicated to sharing information on dance events, knowledge, cultures and
anything related to dance in South East Asia, across the regions and across
the globe, dbl O successfully launched our very own
dance competition with local dancers..
Fiesta Fitness was started in November 2010 by Shannon Lupian in hopes to
grow the Singapore Zumba Fitness community. Having classes every day of the
week enables more people to be part of this new dance phenomenon. Located at
Waterloo Centre, just next to dbl O, Shannon and her team bring to their
students and to the rest of the public a 2 hour taste of how
this cardio-dance workout that fuses Latin dance with hip-hop, belly-dance,
african dance, bhangra, swing, and many other dance forms is like in dbl O!
